About Your Dentist

Dr. David Kaelin graduated from Murray State University with a dual B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry and a Minor in Biology. He then attended the University of Kentucky Dental School where he received his dental degree. To keep in touch with his peers, Dr. Kaelin holds memberships in many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association. He is also a member of the Southeast Missouri Dental Society and an associate member of the Cape Girardeau Medical Society.

An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Kaelin has been recognized as a Fellow in the prestigious American College of Dentists and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. In order to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the dental field and to stay current with evolving technology, Dr. Kaelin regularly attends continuing education classes.

In his free time, Dr. Kaelin loves to travel, play golf, and scuba dive. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful family!

Dr. Patterson is certified in Laser Dentistry, Invisalign treatment, and ClearCorrect Aligner trained. He also has advanced training in Ceramic Crown Restoration.

Professional Memberships

Dr. Patterson serves as president and a trustee of the Southwest Missouri Dental Society and is a Missouri Dental Association delegate to the American Dental Association. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Patterson is a Missouri Native. When he isn’t practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his three daughters and his fiancée, traveling internationally, barbecuing, watching films, and rooting for the Chicago Cubs. He has served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves for more than 24 years, continuing his service as a captain in the reserves assigned to the 4th Dental Company in San Diego, California. He is a lifetime member of the Reserve Officer Association.
